This is an extremely exciting and busy time for me. I am publishing four more paperback editions: the revised English and Italian editions of Zaira, my historical novel; the paperback dual-language edition of Arcobaleno Rainbow by poet Sara Elena Rossetti and last but by no means least, Philip Terry’s Three Wishes. Philip is a renowned poet and novelist. His little book is a tribute to Georges Perec and a New Year celebration of Patrician Press. This will be the first book to be published, hopefully by end of this month.
Charlie Johnson, my partner, has contributed to the books by creating the cover images for Three Wishes, Arcobaleno Rainbow and the new Italian edition of Zaira. The cover of Zaira is a detail from a beautiful charcoal and chalk drawing of a reclining nude.
I did manage to find time to visit London a couple of times to see the captioned performance of American Psycho, the Paul Klee exhibition at Tate Modern and Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake as well as catching up with friends and family. All very stimulating…
And on 27th January, Linda Lappin, author of the Etruscan, has invited me to join her writer’s blog tour so that’s the date for my next blog.
